Join the Fight Against Spotted Lanternflies

Natasha was on WWLP discussing the increase in spotted lanternflies in our region and what you can do if you spot any. This invasive species can damage a wide variety of trees and plants. To slow the spread, experts ask that residents kill the pests by stepping on them or using a fly swatter. If you see a large number of them, take a picture and report it. Any sightings of the spotted lanternfly can be reported online to the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources.
