Our president, Jerry Lazarus, is the third generation of his family to own and operate Braman, with his three sons making the fourth generation to learn the business from the ground up. A hands-on leader, Jerry has grown our company on three unwavering principles that guide the entire team: pride, honesty and quality of service.

With more than 30 years of experience, Jerry learned a lot about pest control from his father, who was an entomologist.

Having grown up learning the business from his father, Jake has experience in nearly every aspect of the operation having served as a technician, salesperson, supervisor, and customer service representative—he even starred in several of our commercials! For the past two years, he has been the VP Operations, overseeing service locations throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and parts of New Hampshire, Vermont, and New York.

A resident of Longmeadow, Jake received both bachelor’s and master’s degree in business administration from Bryant University. Growing up surrounded by sports, he is an avid athlete who enjoys football, baseball, golfing, snowboarding and hiking, as well as trips to the beach.

Josh learned the family business from the ground up and has been with us officially since 2015. He has served in a variety of roles, including account manager and treasurer, before becoming VP of Finance. He is responsible for working with all functions and departments of the business to allocate resources, develop and implement organizational goals, structure policies and procedures and evaluate business risk. In addition to overseeing budgets and financial planning, he develops and manages partnership agreements.

A resident of Suffield, CT, Josh earned his undergraduate degree in business management and his MBA from Bryant University in Rhode Island. He also holds a Category 41 supervisory license in Massachusetts.

In his free time, Josh enjoys golf, hiking and spending time with his fiancée Giovanna, his dog Cooper and his family.

Justin first held summer jobs at Braman as a teen. He worked as a field supervisor from 2016 to 2018, before assuming his current role as manager in 2019. Now he develops new software and programs to enhance our clients’ and technicians’ experiences.

A busy father, this Longmeadow resident enjoys car racing, automotive events, outdoor activities and travel. He combines these passions helping to host car shows and events for charitable foundations throughout the country.

Joining Braman in 2026 as general manager, Tim brings 28 years of experience in entomology and structural pest management. He supports Braman’s Operations, Sales and Marketing, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, Procurement, Safety, Technical and Training teams.

Tim has held leadership and technical services roles across the pest management industry, overseeing technical and training operations, quality control and safety programs and providing support to sales, marketing and customers. He has also supported product innovation and launches and worked closely with industry professionals on pest control tactics, products and equipment. A board-certified urban and public health entomologist, Tim has contributed to 40 scientific, extension and industry publications and holds a Ph.D. in entomology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Outside of work, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife, Emily, and daughter, Colette, as well as bluegrass concerts and festivals, disc golf and connecting with other pest management professionals.

As Braman Termite & Pest Elimination’s director of human resources, Allison Garriss brings 10 years of human resources leadership experience to her role, where she helps support the company and its employees. Before joining Braman, Allison held HR leadership positions with Carr Property Management and O’Connell Care at Home. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a master’s degree in organization management from Springfield College. Allison is also a SHRM-CP and was recognized as a BusinessWest 40 Under Forty honoree in 2013.

A Westfield, Massachusetts, resident, Allison enjoys spending time with her husband, Matt, and their son, Jag. Allison also serves as a volunteer board member for Westfield Youth Football and Cheer and was named Hockey Mom of the Year by the Springfield Thunderbirds in 2023.

Laurette joined the Braman team in 2021 with more than three decades of experience. She is responsible for the financial accounting operations of the company, overseeing the billing, accounts receivable and accounts payable departments.

A graduate of Westfield State University with a B.S. in business management, Laurette is a CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounting and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accounting.

The Windsor, CT, resident enjoys spending time with her family, including four kids and four grandkids, live music and rooting for the Red Sox.

A long-time Braman employee, Graig joined our team in 2002, becoming our operations manager in 2024. You can also spot him in some of our ads!

Technical Director Kevin Flynn brings with him 14 years of experience in the pest management industry. He provides the technical expertise behind our service operations throughout New England, with a focus on pest identification, integrated pest management, product and pesticide compliance, technician training and quality assurance. He also develops the practical technical standards and procedures that help ensure our services are safe, effective, compliant and consistently delivered at a high professional standard.

Before coming to Braman, Kevin held leadership roles as a service manager and branch manager with several established pest control companies in the region. Today, he draws on that field experience and leadership background to support our teams and strengthen service quality across the company. Kevin is an Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE) and a professional member of the New England Pest Management Association and the Entomological Society of America.

Having joined our team as our office manager in 2024, Alicia helps coordinate communication and collaboration between all other departments within the company to ensure everyone works together efficiently and processes run smoothly. She oversees all general office operations, including managing our billing and accounts receivable departments.

A California native, Alicia also lived for a while in Texas before settling in Windsor, Connecticut, with her husband and their two daughters. A big baseball fan, she has played softball for many years and also enjoys fishing, restoring old wood furniture and diving into a good book. Alicia also volunteers at St. Mary’s Church, helping with a variety of initiatives to provide resources and support to those in need.

Ryan has been with Braman for 17 years and has served as our Quality Director for the past three. He has worked his way up through nearly every part of the business, starting out as a technician in residential, commercial, power spray and termite services before taking on roles as service supervisor, training supervisor, quality supervisor and quality manager. Today, he works with quality managers and technicians across all branches to make sure every account is maintained to our standards. He reviews audits performed by supervisors and managers, updates our audit and training forms and regularly trains managers, supervisors and technicians. He also handles initial setups for new customers and works with our QA team and branch managers to follow up on any service issues. Ryan received the GM Award in 2016 and the Down & Dirty Award in 2022, 2023 and 2025.

Ryan lives in Chicopee, Massachusetts, with his wife Sheri and their son Jared. He coaches youth baseball and enjoys fishing, live music and following New England sports.

Scott joined the Braman team in 2019 with nearly three decades of experience in the pest management industry. Originally an account manager, he now serves as operations support manager. He works with customers to assess their needs and develop programs that help them meet their goals, and he leads skills development for Braman’s field personnel, office staff and service supervisors.

A graduate of the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in natural resource management, Scott is an Associate Certified Entomologist through the Entomological Society of America. He is a member of the National Pest Management Association, the New England Pest Management Association, the Connecticut Pest Control Association and the Entomological Society of America.

Thomas joined the Braman team in 2019 and has advanced from service professional to field supervisor, service supervisor and now Agawam branch manager, a role he has held for two years. He manages day-to-day operations of the Agawam office, including the fleet, scheduling and field management. His work has earned him Technician of the Year (2022), Extra Mile Awards from the Agawam (2022) and Bloomfield (2023) branches and Manager of the Year (2025).

A graduate of Elms College with a bachelor’s degree in biology, Thomas lives in West Springfield with his girlfriend Bryanna, their dogs Remi and Harlow, and their ducks Daisy, Waka Flocka, Quackers and Wheezy. In his free time, he enjoys gardening, bowling and spending time outdoors.

David has been with Braman for 41 years and has served as our Bloomfield Branch Manager for the past 30. He started as a service technician, then worked as a supervisor and led our termite crew for several years before moving into his current role. Today he oversees the branch’s four supervisors and 20 service technicians, making sure work is completed on time, customers are well taken care of and every job meets a high standard of quality. David was named Supervisor of the Year in 2017.

David holds Connecticut supervisory licenses in general insect, rodent, mosquito and termite control, along with a Connecticut trapper’s license. In Massachusetts, he is licensed in general insect, rodent and termite control. Before beginning his career in pest management, he served in the U.S. Army from 1981 to 1984.

Having joined Braman Termite & Pest Elimination in 2018, Matt has worked his way from technician to service supervisor and now serves as branch manager. In his role, Matt meets with new customers to help them understand the reasons behind their pest issues and works closely with Braman’s technicians to ensure services are completed effectively. He also oversees scheduling, follow-up services and contracts while providing daily guidance and support to technicians as they build their knowledge and confidence in the field.

A resident of Russell, Massachusetts, Matt enjoys spending time outdoors, especially walking in the woods, camping, fishing and setting trail cameras to observe wildlife. He also enjoys cutting and processing wood, prospecting, and refurbishing and modifying classic video game consoles.

Eric joined the Braman team in 2010 and has spent his entire 16-year career in the pest control industry. After serving as a service supervisor, he was named branch manager of the North Haven branch, a role he has held for the past seven years. He oversees the branch’s supervisors, service professionals and office staff, manages scheduling and technician routes and ensures every service meets the standards of the Braman Way. He also handles customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance and employee training and development.

A graduate of Sacred Heart University with a B.S. in business management, Eric holds a supervisory pesticide license in Connecticut and is also licensed in New York and Rhode Island. A lifelong resident of Stratford, Connecticut, he and his wife of 30 years, Tania, have three children. He enjoys camping with his family and cheering on the Yankees and the Raiders.

Emmett joined our team in 2015 and has served as our Waltham Branch Manager for the past eight years, after previously working as a field supervisor and service supervisor. He sees himself first and foremost as a coach for his team. He oversees daily operations and regulatory compliance, makes sure services are delivered on time and to a high standard and resolves escalated customer concerns. He also focuses on building a strong team whose members can grow their careers at Braman. With 15 years in the industry, Emmett has earned the 2016 Supervisor of the Year Award and the Waltham Extra Mile Award in 2018 and 2023.

Emmett lives in Pepperell, Massachusetts, with his wife Katie, their children Olivia and Matthew and their dog Penny Lane. He enjoys fishing, hiking, golfing and following Boston sports. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus and supports charities including the Jimmy Fund and One Mission Buzz Off.
