Braman Termite & Pest Elimination has hired Tim Husen, Ph.D., BCE, PHE, PCQI, as general manager. In this role, Husen will support the company’s operations, sales and marketing, quality assurance and quality control, procurement, safety, technical and training teams.
“Tim brings an exceptional depth of knowledge and experience in pest management to Braman,” said Jacob Lazarus, vice president of operations at Braman Termite & Pest Elimination. “His background across pest control operations, technical services, training and product development will be a tremendous asset to our team and the customers we serve.”
Husen has 28 years of experience in entomology and structural pest management. He began his career with Waltham Services, where he developed and directed technical and training operations while managing quality control and safety procedures.
He later served as technical service manager for Rollins Inc. and as a technical services representative for BASF Professional and Specialty Solutions. Before joining Braman, he was a technical services manager for Syngenta Professional Pest Management, supporting its Midwest and Northeast U.S. sales territories, product launches, innovation initiatives, sales and marketing teams and customers.
Husen is a subject matter expert in insect and rodent pest control tactics, products and equipment. He is a board-certified urban and public health entomologist and has authored or contributed to 40 scientific, extension and industry trade publications. He has also presented at scientific and pest management industry events.
Husen holds a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences, a master’s degree in entomology and a Ph.D. in entomology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
