Appreciating our Health Care Heroes

Free lunch for health care workers

To thank them for their hard work and dedication during the coronavirus pandemic, we donated lunch to 150 health care heroes at Baystate Medical Center.

Our president, Gerald Lazarus, commented, “It was hard to know what we could do to show these frontline heroes how much we value the sacrifices they have made during the outbreak. We hope they enjoyed this token of our appreciation and know how grateful we are for their service.”

The lunches, purchased from Center Square Grille in East Longmeadow, were delivered to Baystate on Friday, May 15.

The team at Baystate Health Foundation noted how appreciative the staff was of this donation, collectively stating, “Baystate Health is so grateful for the food donations that support our health care providers as they continue to serve on the frontlines and battle COVID-19. Braman Termite & Pest Elimination’s generous donation of meals from Center Square Grill for our team members was a kind and much-appreciated gesture.”
